LOGIT at the LOGIC 2015 Conference

25.05.2015 – LOGIT participated at the 2nd Logistics International Conference, organized by the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering, held in Belgrade, from 21st to 23rd of May 2015.

Although LOGIT was one of the conference sponsors, more significant was the involvement of LOGIT’s consultants in the program sessions themselves. In the section “Logistics: Best Practice”, Bojan Dobrota, Project Manager, presented trends and usage of latest technology and solutions for management of logistics centers and warehouse processes, and discussed the biggest challenges for their implementation and successful application. In the part of the conference dedicated to scientific research, in the section “Optimization and modelling in logistics and transportation”, Milan Dobrota, Managing Director presented his paper titled “Multi Criteria Decision Making for Distribution Center Location Selection – Serbia Case Study”, which shows the application of the fuzzy AHP method for selection of the distribution center location, its practical application and concrete business case, including both quantitative and qualitative criteria.
